Brady's First Haircut

Before we knew it, our little boy had turned into one of those kids that you see out in public & you think to yourself, "Oh man, his parents really need to get him a haircut!"

So, yesterday we gave Brady his first haircut. He wasn't too fond of the idea of staying still but with the help of everyone in the family, we managed to give him a haircut with relatively few tears! While I handled the scissors, Josh held his head straight and Abi was in charge of entertainment - who knew that a haircut would turn into such a family affair?

Although it's not perfect - looks a little like a bowl cut behind his right ear and is a bit crooked in the back - overall, it's pretty good for our first time. And if he grows up to be anything like his Dad and constantly wants his hair cut, I have a feeling that I will have lots of practice!

We've got ourselves a crawler!!

Today, Brady crawled for the first time (and believe or not, I actually had the video camera out and was recording when it happened!) He has been mobile for some time now although this generally consisted of him rolling around and eventually he would get where he wanted to go. Now that he is actually crawling, I think we may be in for some serious trouble!

One thing I am definitely not looking forward to is hearing much more complaining from Abi now that Brady will be able to get all of her toys. We'll see how much sibling love she still has when that starts happening!
