Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate on our first attempt to go to Snowflake Lane so Abi and I had a girls night out after Christmas and went to Celebration Lane. We had fun spending some mom and daughter time together, watching the "snow" fall, dancing to the music and of course, eating dessert!

How To Build A Snowman
Step 1: Start by making a small snowball
Step 2: Keep adding snow to make a bigger snowball (while providing play-by-play instructions to your little brother on how it is done)
Step 5: Add stones for the buttons, a carrot for the nose and a few branches for the arms. And don't forget to take some time to smile for a quick picture.
Step 6: Accessorize! Of course, a snowman would not be complete without a necklace, tiara and a wand.

Christmas Eve
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We started the evening by opening presents, then off to church and finally back to Arizona Grandma and Grandpa's to spend time with family. It was a great way to start the holiday weekend.
The Whole Gang
Before bed, we set out a plate of cookies and milk for Santa and some carrots for the reindeers

Gingerbread Houses
Our Christmas season would not be complete if we didn't decorate a gingerbread house so, as in past years, we headed over to the Worsley's house for our annual tradition. This year our houses were pre-built which made it much easier and they didn't fall apart on our drive home. The kids had a great time decorating (and eating lots and lots of candy). I think at least half of Abi's candy made it in her mouth instead of on her house!

Christmas Sing-Along
Today was Abi's Christmas Sing-Along. It was so cute and fun to see the kids perform the Christmas songs that they have been practicing all month long.

Great Wolf Lodge
For Christmas this year, Ferryboat Grandma and Great Grandpa gave us a stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Ferryboat Grandma joined us for our overnight stay and we all had a great time exploring the waterpark, playing games and relaxing. Abi loved the wave pool and even went down the big slides all by herself. Brady also had fun, despite getting a cold while we were there. He had absolutely no fear and headed straight for the kiddie pools and slides - thank goodness for life jackets!
Playing the Magic Wand game
Thanks again Ferryboat Grandma and Great Grandpa for the great Christmas present - we had a wonderful time!
