After several blisters, many falls and lots of practice, Abi finally mastered the monkeybars!

Happy 7th Birthday Abi!

How is it that my first born just turned 7 years old? It doesn't seem possible. 

I am so proud of Abi and the person she is transforming into. She is happy, smart, thoughtful, motherly,  inquisitive, stylish, creative, independent and very dramatic.

The night before her birthday, Abi lost her second tooth.  A visit from the tooth fairy made her birthday morning even better!

After school, she quickly did her homework so we could spend the rest of the afternoon and evening celebrating.  We were lucky enough to have Ferryboat Grandma visiting us so she took Abi for a birthday manicure and a pedicure! 

She definitely has her own sense of style!

Next, we headed to Abi's favorite restaurant, Din Tai Fung, for some dumplings.

...and off the bed after a very busy and fun day!

In lieu of a big party this year, we celebrated with a few of Abi's best friends the following weekend. We went to lunch, saw a movie and had some yummy frozen yogurt to end her birthday week.

Gymnastics!

For Christmas, Abi received some money and decided to use it for gymnastic classes which she has taken on a weekly basis over the past 3 months.  She learned a lot and it was fun to see her improve every week.  Here are some pictures from her last class - 

St. Patty's Day

Brady came out of preschool today with a project he had made to celebrate St. Patty's Day. Most of the kids named their potatoes something familiar, like their own names; but not Brady...he had a very simple explanation:  I'm the brother and this is "Other Brother" :)

Next, we picked up Brady's best friend Chase and headed to the Fire Department for a tour.

...and then it was off to Red Robin for some lunch...

Then we went to Elevated Sportz Indoor Trampoline Park to burn off some energy...

Before heading home for presents, pizza and cake, we made a stop at the kid's pediatrician.  Unfortunately Abi had an ear infection and Brady had to get treated for an upper respiratory infection.  Both the kids were such troopers and didn't let the sickness(es) ruin their days.
