All I Want For Christmas Is...{a little late}

I couldn't help but start singing... "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth..." when Abi's tooth fell out today! Too bad we were just a few days late...(and we still have one more front tooth to lose) but it always fun when I can embarrass Abi with my singing of silly songs :)

Our Crazy Month of December

After our return from Oregon, the craziness of Christmas began!

On December 6th, we headed to Bellevue Botanical Gardens for the Garden d'Lights.

The following day we went to Redmond Lights, where we watched the lighting of the tree and went on the Luminary Walk. It was one of the coldest evenings of the year (in the 20s) and poor Nattie was freezing! Unfortunately our walk was filled with cries from one unhappy baby! :(

After our walk, the kids enjoyed a ride on the Merry-Go-Round.

The next morning, we headed to downtown Seattle so I could participate in the Jingle Bell Run. One of my goals for 2013 was to run in a 5K and I am happy to report that I was able to run the entire race!  It was awesome to see Josh and the kids cheering me on at the finish line. It was the perfect first race because it was so fun and festive - I hope to do it again some day.
It was still freezing as we headed out first thing in the morning!

Afterwards, we warmed up by heading to the Sheraton to check out the Gingerbread Village.  Here are a few of our favorites!

A few days later, Natalie took her first step :)

On December 12th, we decorated the Christmas Tree.
Thanks to Ferryboat Grandma and Abi we had a popcorn garland to add to our tree this year.

Nattie helped Daddy put Santa on the tree this year!

On December 14th, Natalie walked for the first time.
Way to go Nattie!

Abi was so excited about me running in the 5K that she decided she wanted to run one herself.  One of the local companies sponsored one in our neighborhood so Abi, Arizona Grandma and I signed up.  Although Grandma and I ran for part of it, Abi took off and ran the entire way - we were happy to see her waiting for us at the finish line.  I was very proud of her and hope to have many more runs with her.

On December 18th we headed to the Worsley's for our annual Gingerbread Decorating day.

Abi's Gingerbread Cheerleader :)

Forget the decorating, Natalie just enjoyed eating the gingerbread!

On December 19th Brady performed in his preschool Christmas Sing-A-Long.
On his way in to the performance...

This is what Brady was doing before the performance began.
In hindsight, this should have been my first clue that he was not too interested in singing Christmas carols.

On the following day we got our first big snowfall of the year!

On December 22nd, we packed the family in the car - complete with Polar Express Hot Chocolate and popcorn - and headed out on the search for Christmas lights.

This was our favorite house.  They even invited guests inside their home where they set up a mini-winter wonderland complete with trains and streams!

On December 23rd Arizona Grandma, Abi and I went to a performance of the Nutcracker. It was a special thing to share with Abi since I went as a kid with my Mom.  We had a fun night!

Our special ballerina cupcake during intermission!

And finally, our Christmas post would not be complete without some Elf on the Shelf pics.
Here are some of the places that Oscar hid this month...

(I take no responsibility for this one. This was all Josh!)
